On July 20th, the reporter learned from the Fenghuangshan Sports Park Comprehensive Gymnasium at the Chengdu Universiade that a digital twin visualization management platform independently developed by Chengdu enterprises is achieving effective control of energy consumption in sports venues.
"The digital twin visualization management platform is like the 'brain' of a sports stadium, and its' nerve endings' are more than 20 subsystems including air conditioning, lighting, water pipes, strong and weak electricity, involving thousands of facilities and equipment. If it is subdivided into countless perception units, it is a connection of tens of thousands of levels." Yang Jingtao, the developer of the platform and the deputy general manager of Chengdu Guhe Cloud Technology Co., Ltd., said that the sports stadium can "speak", relying on the "Kaihe" digital support platform independently developed by enterprises.
Yang Jingtao introduced that they have customized a digital twin visual management platform that combines "end+cloud+big data" for the Phoenix Mountain Sports Park Comprehensive Gymnasium. During operation, the platform can accurately restore the structure of venue buildings, layout of facility and equipment positions, etc. to the virtual simulation space model, enabling centralized operation and maintenance management of the building's equipment and facilities operation status, and comprehensive analysis and management of energy consumption, thereby achieving effective energy consumption management.
"After the sensing devices scattered throughout the stadium are connected to the platform's' brain ', the' brain 'can clearly understand the status of each device, every minute and second, and reflect it in real-time, dynamic, and visual ways on the platform, allowing operation and maintenance personnel to receive it in the first time." Yang Jingtao said that through this comprehensive coverage of operation and maintenance management mode, the energy consumption of all air conditioning, lighting, and other equipment in the venue can be monitored in real time. "Even among the hundreds of lighting fixtures in the venue, which one malfunctioned can be monitored in real-time by the staff."
"After this platform is put into use at the Universiade venue in Fenghuangshan Sports Park, it will reduce energy consumption by about 15%, improve equipment operation efficiency by about 20%, and reduce operation and maintenance personnel costs by about 60%." Peng An, General Manager of Guheyun Technology, said that when the operation status of all facilities and equipment inside the building is real, dynamic, and visual, operation and maintenance management personnel can apply scenarios such as energy-saving and consumption reduction regulation, intelligent warning linkage, etc. At the same time, with the support of the digital twin visualization management platform, sports venues and other buildings can also undergo scene based simulation, such as perspective switching, object management, special effects animation, lighting and weather, etc. In the future, this technology can be widely applied in industries such as smart parks, smart healthcare, and smart transportation.
