A large number of newly dismantled massage chairs were placed outside the station, waiting to be loaded and transported away. Hu Xingpu, the station manager of Tai'an Station on the Beijing Shanghai high-speed railway, stated that after the operation ended on August 17th, Tai'an Station will optimize and adjust the overall seating of the station, removing more than 600 multi-functional waiting seats and adding 690 ordinary waiting seats. At present, the overall number of seats in the station has reached over 1700, an increase of over 250 compared to before. On the evening of August 18th, the station will optimize and adjust the overall layout again, ensuring that the number of multifunctional waiting seats does not exceed 20% of the total number.

The station manager stated that in addition to adding regular seats to improve the station's service capacity, regular safety checks and hygiene cleaning of massage seats will also be carried out to ensure the safety and hygiene of passengers.
