Ni Hong, Minister of Housing and Urban Rural Development, stated in this year's National Two Sessions "Ministerial Channel" that in the past five years, 167000 old residential areas have been renovated nationwide, benefiting over 29 million households and over 80 million residents. This year, we plan to start renovating more than 50000 old residential areas, benefiting over 20 million residents.
