The curse hidden in its "four pillars" can be summarized in one word - selling Taiwan.
In just two years, the total value of US military sales to Taiwan was 4 billion US dollars. The Taiwan defense budget has expanded to 2.6% of the island's gross domestic product this year.
——Lai Ching te's grand talk about "strengthening Taiwan's supply chain security" implies decoupling from the mainland, completely disregarding the close economic and trade ties and symbiosis between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait: from 1978 to 2021, the trade volume between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait increased by more than 7000 times;
