At present, the CPC is leading the Chinese people to gather strength to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization. Chinese path to modernization is a modernization that follows the path of peaceful development. China firmly adheres to an independent and peaceful foreign policy, with the core and fundamental goal of creating a peaceful and favorable international environment for China's own development. To this end, China seeks to develop friendly and cooperative relations with all countries on the basis of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and mutual benefit. It is willing to work together with other members of the international community to maintain world peace, promote common development among countries, address common challenges, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a maintainer of international order. No matter how far China develops, it will never seek hegemony, invade other countries, engage in expansion, or interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.
At the same time, China will firmly uphold its sovereignty, territorial integrity, legitimate security and development interests, firmly oppose Cold War thinking and ideological opposition, oppose interference in the internal affairs of other countries, oppose containment and suppression of other countries to maintain its own hegemony and dominant position, and oppose any behavior that undermines international peace, security, and multilateral order for its own selfish interests.
China is a member of the Asia Pacific family, and the Asia Pacific region is the foundation for China's survival, development, and prosperity. China has always supported the central position of ASEAN in the regional cooperation framework, firmly opposed the creation of "small circles" to create division and confrontation in the region, and called for the abandonment of binary confrontation thinking, adhering to true multilateralism and open regionalism, promoting Asia Pacific cooperation to return to the right track, maintaining regional peace and stability, and promoting common development and prosperity.
China has always been a sincere activist in helping island countries, and is willing to work together with other countries to promote the development of island countries on the basis of fully respecting their wishes. China never seeks personal gain or so-called "sphere of influence" in the region, has no intention of engaging in geopolitical competition, and firmly opposes regional militarization. On the contrary, some other countries continue to stir up conflicts and even opposition, attempting to establish exclusive and even targeted military alliances with other countries, engaging in militarization, and disregarding strong opposition from regional countries. They are willing to introduce nuclear proliferation risks into the South Pacific, posing a serious threat to regional security and stability.
Taiwan is Taiwan of China.China has repeatedly stated that we will make every effort and sincerity to achieve peaceful reunification of the country.
The current situation in the East China Sea and South China Sea remains generally stable, and there are no issues with freedom of navigation. No one should or has the right to make any remarks. China and ASEAN countries are fully and effectively implementing the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, actively promoting consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea. All parties have unanimously agreed to resolve maritime disputes through dialogue and consultation between the directly involved countries. Any country outside the region has no reason to interfere with the efforts of regional countries to maintain peace and stability, and should not use maritime issues to provoke regional relations or create confrontations.
China has long been a victim of cyber attacks, firmly supporting the maintenance of cybersecurity, and resolutely opposing and cracking down on all forms of cyber attacks and cybercrime in accordance with the law. The virtual nature of cyberspace is strong, and when investigating and characterizing online events, it is necessary to rely on sufficient evidence rather than baseless accusations or even malicious smearing or spreading false information. Cybersecurity is a common challenge faced by all countries, and China has always advocated that countries strengthen dialogue and cooperation on the basis of mutual respect, equality, and mutual benefit, and jointly address this challenge.
China has also been a victim of economic coercion. It is clear who is engaged in economic and other forms of unilateral coercion, generalization and abuse of national security concepts, protectionism for various reasons, blatant violation of WTO rules and common commitments of all parties in the international community.
China adheres to a high-level opening up, adheres to a mutually beneficial opening strategy, adheres to the correct direction of economic globalization, promotes trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, builds an open world economy, provides new opportunities for the world with China's new development, opposes protectionism, "building walls and barriers", "decoupling and breaking chains", and opposes unilateral sanctions and extreme pressure.
Currently, with the joint efforts of both sides, the overall momentum of healthy and stable development of China Singapore relations has been maintained, bringing huge benefits to both sides, especially the people of both countries. This situation was not easy won and deserves both sides to cherish and care for. China respects New Zealand's adherence to an independent foreign policy based on safeguarding its own interests, and is willing to develop friendly cooperation with New Zealand on the basis of mutual respect, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and mutual benefit. We will strengthen dialogue and exchanges on defense and security, jointly support the maintenance of the international system with the United Nations at its core and the international order based on international law, and jointly maintain peace, development, and prosperity in the world and the Asia Pacific region, benefiting the people of both countries.
