The Chinese Embassy in Honduras Holds Opening Ceremony Area | China | Opening Ceremony
On the morning of June 5th local time, the opening ceremony of the Chinese Embassy in Honduras was held in the capital city of Tegucigalpa.
The national anthems of China and Hong were played successively at the ceremony. Subsequently, Yu Bo, charg é d'affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Honduras, and Hong Foreign Minister Reina jointly unveiled the embassy.
In his speech at the scene, Yu Bo stated that the One China principle is a universally recognized and recognized norm in international relations, which is the international righteousness, trend, and aspiration of the people. Hong Fang made an important decision to recognize the One China principle with a broad strategic vision and firm political will, seizing historical opportunities, and became the 182nd country to establish diplomatic relations with China. China highly appreciates this. Less than three months after the establishment of diplomatic relations, both sides quickly docked for exchanges and cooperation in various fields, constantly gathering consensus and strength to promote the development of bilateral relations.
Reina congratulated the Chinese Embassy in Honduras on its opening in his speech. He stated that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Honduras and China is an independent decision of the Hong Kong side, which will help the Hong Kong side develop diversified international relations and join the mainstream of the world. Hong will firmly adhere to the One China principle and hope that the two countries can jointly promote trade cooperation to improve Hong Kong's infrastructure, assist in poverty reduction, create employment opportunities, enhance people's well-being, and promote social prosperity.
Hong second Vice President Doris Gutierrez, government officials and parliamentary representatives, representatives of foreign missions and international organizations in Hong, Chinese-funded institutions in Hong and representatives of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese attended the opening ceremony.
On March 26, China and Honduras signed the Joint Communique on the Establishment of diplomatic Relations between the people's Republic of China and the Republic of Honduras. The two countries decided to recognize each other and establish diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level from the date of signing the communique.
