Ozg Ilmaz, a table tennis player from Türkiye and a student of Elgies University, is excited about the coming challenges and eager to experience the multicultural exchanges brought about by the Universiade.
Although China has participated in competitions abroad multiple times, its advantage in table tennis has a unique attraction to Irmaz. I have always been curious about this place, and now I finally have the opportunity to visit. I am really excited," Ilmaz said excitedly.
In addition to competitions, the Chengdu Universiade will also serve as a platform to connect athletes from different backgrounds. When asked about cross-cultural interaction at the Universiade, Ilmaz said she looks forward to establishing new dialogue with Asian athletes.

Adam Stigburn, a member of the Swedish delegation and competition director of the Swedish University Sports Federation, believes that in addition to medals, athletes participating in the Universiade will also bring back beautiful memories and new friendships from Chengdu.
Stigburn stated that competition is beneficial, but it does not mean everything. He said, "I hope participants can find joy in communicating with Swedish athletes and athletes from around the world who participate in other events."
The Swedish team is full of anticipation for this trip to Chengdu. Stigburn said, "This is an incredible competition with so many events and participants."
Stigburn has very high expectations for the competition of the Chengdu Universiade, which stems from his experience of going to Chengdu earlier this year for preparatory work. "That was my first time coming to China and left a lot of impressions and feelings on me. Firstly, I had never heard of Chengdu before, but the scale of this city left a deep impression on me," he said.
In addition, Chengdu is renowned for its spicy cuisine, which is also one of the highlights of Stigburn's trip. He said excitedly, "Sichuan hotpot is a delicacy I can't miss during my few weeks in Chengdu!".

Christopher Svensen, President of the Swedish University Sports Federation, said, "We believe that Chengdu is ready to host an exciting World University Summer Games. We look forward to this grand event where young people from all over the world can showcase their athletic talents while learning from the cultures of other countries."
