On the afternoon of June 15, the body of a truck driver who had been missing for 27 days in Naqu, Xizang, was found in a river channel, and the police determined that his death was due to drowning. Previously, Jimu News reported on the disappearance of the driver.
The truck that Ma Mouhai drove before his disappearance
At about 4:00 p.m. on May 19, Ma Mouhai, a truck driver from Qinghai, drove alone to transport a broken hammer of an excavator. When the vehicle drove to the section of Linti Township, Naqu City, Xizang 305 Provincial Highway, the broken hammer weighing more than one ton fell onto the road. Ma Mouhai told the shipper that he couldn't get the broken hammer onto the car alone, and then left the car to seek help. During the subsequent process of seeking help, he lost contact with everyone, but his ID card and cash were left in the car.
Afterwards, Ma Mouhai's family rushed to the scene of the incident to search for his whereabouts, and the local police also intervened in the investigation and made every effort to search for Ma Mouhai's whereabouts.
On June 16th, Mr. Ma, the younger brother of Ma Mouhai, told Jimu News reporters that at around 3pm on June 15th, the local police found his body in a river about 10 kilometers away from Ma Mouhai's disappearance. The police determined that his death was due to drowning.
The staff of the Public Security Bureau of Naqu Jiali County, Xizang, confirmed to the Jimu News reporter that Ma Mouhai had been found and the relevant information would be announced.
