At the center of the Qingbaijiang Basketball Stadium at the Chengdu Universiade, whenever a player falls to the ground, one or two "little green peppers" will immediately rush to the field, quickly wipe off the sweat on the ground with their towels, and then evacuate.
"Being able to launch such a rapid attack is thanks to the training and testing competition in the early stage," said Liu Yun, a "Little Green Pepper" from the Chengdu Campus of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Architecture. At this Universiade, a total of 20000 volunteers from 35 universities in Chengdu participated in volunteer services for the event.
