In recent years, the local government has implemented the Fenghe River Management Comprehensive Project, with the concept of "flexible water management and ecological river management". It is understood that in the past three years, the green area on both sides of the Fenghe River in the jurisdiction of Xixian New Area has increased by more than 26 million square meters, and the water quality has remained stable at Class II for a long time. Wild animals such as egrets, cranes, black storks, and green headed ducks, which were previously rare, have gradually settled here, and more than 20 species of birds can be observed in daily life.

Zhang Fengxia, a villager from Yanxia Zhang Village in Doumen Street, Chang'an District, works here and is responsible for daily management and maintenance of crops. "Working here is close to home, so you can take care of your family and earn over 3000 yuan per month," said Zhang Fengxia.

Deng Tongli is a resident of Fengjingyuan Community on the banks of the Feng River.
