The 2023 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week will be held nationwide from September 11th to 17th
On August 31, 2023, the press conference for the National Cybersecurity Promotion Week was held in Beijing. Gao Lin, Director of the Cybersecurity Coordination Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Administration, and Lu Jing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, Minister of Propaganda, Minister of United Front Work Department, and First level Inspector, introduced the preparations for the event and answered questions from reporters.
The 2023 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week will be held nationwide from September 11th to 17th. Among them, important events such as the opening ceremony will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.
Lu Jing introduced that this year's Cybersecurity Week has the following characteristics: firstly, it highlights the people-oriented nature, creating a strong atmosphere where cybersecurity is for the people, and cybersecurity relies on the people. The second is to highlight innovation and adhere to the unity of promoting development and lawful management. The third is to highlight integration and promote the integrated development of network security through the integration of government, industry, academia, research and application.

During this year's Cybersecurity Week, in addition to the opening ceremony, there will also be Cybersecurity Expo, Cybersecurity Technology Summit Forum, Cybersecurity Micro Video Collection, as well as theme days and grassroots activities.
The 2023 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week was jointly organized by ten departments including the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Bank of China, the State Administration of Radio and Television, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the All China Women's Federation. Local party committees at all levels and network information committees shall lead and organize the Cybersecurity Awareness Week activities within their respective administrative regions. Central and state organs and departments shall organize and guide activities in their respective industries and fields within the system.
