In recent days, the disaster stricken areas in Beijing Tianjin Hebei have made all-out efforts to speed up post disaster reconstruction. The vast number of party members and cadres have gathered strong forces to organize post disaster dredging, communication recovery, environmental disinfection and sterilization, post disaster epidemic prevention and other work to provide living services for the disaster stricken people.

Since the disaster occurred, over 120000 party members and cadres from all over Beijing have rushed to the front line of disaster relief, working together with local cadres and the masses to clear silt, connect water and electricity, and build roads.

In Qiaodong Community, Chengzi Street, Mentougou District, Mount Huangshan, a cadre of the Organization Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, is wielding a shovel to clean up the mud. As a member of the first batch of rescue and disaster relief youth assault teams, when he first arrived at the streets of Chengzi, there was a foul smelling sludge everywhere. Faced with the urgent task of dredging and dredging channels, the "Red Wall Pioneer" rescue team consisting of 30 party members and cadres in Xicheng District has established a temporary party branch. As soon as they arrived at Mentougou, the team members rushed to Liuliqu Village, where the ditch was blocked, and rolled up their pants to move stones and clear the mud in the sewage.

On August 14th, more than 220 employees from Fangshan Jinghuan Company, Tongzhou Jinghuan Company, Solid Waste Logistics Company, and Changping Jinghuan Company, affiliated with Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group, rushed to the deep mountains of Da'anshan Township in the severely affected Fangshan District to assist local residents in post disaster reconstruction.

There is a large amount of mud and debris in the central kindergarten of Da'anshan Township, and 20 emergency responders rushed to help. Environmental sanitation worker Ban Susheng said, "We can work hard and have nothing to do. We must make sure that the children start school on time."

The nursing home in Da'anshan Township is also a tough nut to crack. The mountain flood caused a diversion of the river and washed away the road at the entrance of the nursing home. The continuous high temperature caused the mud to clump, so the team members first used iron picks to knock and then used shovels to shovel. "I'm a bit tired, but it's worth it," said Wang Yu, a member of the emergency team.

In this flood control and emergency response, members of the Communist Party vanguard of China Unicom Tianjin Branch and China Mobile Tianjin Company firmly shouldered the responsibility of communication security and made every effort to protect the lifeline of communication.

Tianjin Unicom quickly formed 23 emergency flood prevention party member vanguard teams. "The Party members' vanguard team initiated the heavy protection work of 333 circuits related to flood prevention and control for important clients such as the Tianjin Municipal Government, Municipal Emergency Bureau, and Fire Brigade in advance. Early on August 16th, Zhang Tiebing, a senior forestry engineer at the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Raoyang County, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, and the head of the Fruit Tree Station, led technical personnel to Shengli Village, Raoyang County to inspect the restoration of grape facilities and guide farmers in carrying out post disaster self rescue and loss reduction work.

Raoyang County is a major county for fruits and vegetables. Due to continuous heavy rainfall, 65 villages have flooded their farmland. In recent days, Zhang Tiebing has been walking in the mud and wading in the water every day, providing technical guidance in the fields, and has already walked through more than 40 villages. Every time he went, he carefully observed the grape situation and patiently asked the farmers, introducing everything from pesticide preparation to pruning seedlings in great detail. "As a Communist Party member, I will do my best to help farmers reduce losses," said Zhang Tiebing.

On August 17th, just as the waterlogging had been discharged, Communist Party member Liu Weibing was skillfully manipulating a drone to spray insecticides and fungicides in a high oleic acid peanut field in Baoziying Village, Anping County, Hengshui City.

"After the disaster, peanut fields are prone to bacterial diseases, greatly affecting the fruit setting rate of peanuts." Zhao Huzhuang, Secretary of the Party Branch of Baoziying Village, said that nearly 100 acres of high oleic acid peanut fields in the village have been severely affected by the disaster and are nearing maturity. Agricultural technicians suggest immediate sterilization treatment. As the only person in the village who can operate drones, Liu Weibing immediately rushed to the affected peanut fields to assist the villagers in completing drainage and operating drones to carry out spraying operations.

"After spraying medicine on the peanut fields, I have to quickly go and spray medicine on nearly 1000 acres of corn in the village." Liu Weibing, who was busy until the afternoon, bent down to tidy up the machines on the ground, intending to take advantage of the fact that it was not yet dark to carry out drone spraying operations on the next affected plot.

"Liu Weibing is available at any time, without any conditions," said Liu Jiansuo, who worked with him. Liu Weibing had just undergone surgery three months ago, but when he learned about the serious situation of flood control in the Hutuo River, he volunteered and defended the embankment for 8 days. After descending the embankment, he continued to run on the front line of post disaster production recovery.
