Teach the "Great Ideological and Political Course" of Soul Casting and Education (Chinese Road, Chinese Dream, Working Together to Work Hard) in Snowy Regions | Students | Political Course
In 2017, while studying for a doctorate, I followed the "knowledge and action" practice group of Shanghai Jiaotong University to conduct field research in Xizang for the first time. I am deeply touched by the local party members and cadres who are not afraid of hardship and are willing to contribute. After staying on campus for work in 2020, I led a practice team as a guiding teacher to enter the snowy plateau multiple times. Over the years of teaching practice, I have come to a deeper understanding that combining ideological and political small classrooms with social large classrooms, through the combination of theory and practice, can educate and guide students to implement their life aspirations into practical actions, in order to better enlighten, nourish their hearts, and cultivate their souls.
Entering society, the hot practice contains rich nutrients for cultivating virtue and nurturing people. I led my classmates out of the campus and moved the ideological and political classroom to the fields, snow capped mountains, and lakes. Through various integrated research and education activities such as plateau micro courses, motivational speeches, and wish lists, I led students to learn by doing and learning by doing. With the help of Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Xizang Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, we have innovated the teaching method, so that the students of the practice group and Tibetan students can follow the "big ideological and political course". It can be said that ideological and political courses rooted in the snowy plateau not only help students establish a correct worldview, outlook on life, and values, but also awaken their determination to contribute to their hometown and country.
Combining reality, the ambition to strive will not become empty talk. In recent years, in pairing and mutual assistance practical projects with snowy plateaus, students have been both participants and experiencers, as well as contributors and reapers. Some students expressed that they deeply feel the efforts made by compatriots of all ethnic groups for local development, and should integrate personal growth into national development and the progress of the times. Focusing on reality, combining it with reality, and delving deeper into reality can help guide students to consciously integrate patriotism, national aspirations, and serving the country into the struggle to adhere to and develop the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, build a socialist modernized strong country, and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and achieve a more fulfilling life.
Engage in practice and elevate the spiritual realm through the integration of knowledge and action. Through the combination of professional classrooms and ideological and political classrooms, students can transform their professional knowledge and ideal beliefs into a practice of integrating knowledge and action, giving back to society through practical actions, and enriching the spiritual strength of more people. We create micro party lessons based on what we see, hear, learn, and think in practice, and play them on the "Nanhu 1921" tourist train. Passengers on the train can not only travel and play, but also trace history, learn knowledge, and draw nourishment from the Party's century long struggle. Transforming learning outcomes into practical products, the results of the "Great Ideological and Political Course" will nourish more minds.
The hope of the country lies in the youth, and the future of the nation lies in the youth. We have a great responsibility to help young students grow and benefit from the organic integration of ideological and political classrooms with social classrooms. By closely integrating ideological and political courses with reality, fully interacting with practice, and resonating with the times, we can sow the seeds of truth, goodness, and beauty in the hearts of students. By doing so, we can cultivate more new era talents who are capable of shouldering heavy responsibilities and brave pillars of the times.
