【 Taiwanese "Shen" Life II 】 Charming Shanghai | Jiang Weijie and Huang Huaixuan: Taekwondo Couples Showcasing Their Fists and Feet at Taekwondo Hall in Shanghai | Xiang Jie | Huang Huaixuan
Xiangjie Taekwondo Gym has an unwritten rule that individuals who fail to complete their cultural homework cannot participate in group training. Jiang Weijie from Taipei, Taiwan, is the founder of Xiangjie Taekwondo Gymnasium and has been in Shanghai for nearly 7 years. Last year, his wife Huang Huaixuan also joined the coaching team, and Huang Huaixuan participated as an athlete in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Jiang Weijie, who has been practicing Taekwondo since childhood, has always believed that cultural learning should not be delayed by sports training, so his coaching team will help students check their homework within their own abilities. It is precisely this responsible attitude of treating students as if they were their own, which has established a deep trust between them and their parents. The coaching team often takes the children to other places for training alone.
At the previously concluded Shanghai Games, Jiang Weijie and his team led the Huangpu District Taekwondo team to break the 12 year "gold medal drought" and achieved good results of 4 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Jiang Weijie said, "There are many opportunities in Shanghai, it depends on whether you have two brushes to create and seize opportunities. This is a place where we can show our skills."
