According to Taiwan's Central News Agency, Taipei City announced on the 18th that Mayor Jiang Wan'an will lead a delegation to Shanghai from the 29th to the 31st to participate in the 2023 Twin Cities Forum; The theme is "New Trends, New Developments".
Taipei City stated that the Municipal Information Bureau will give a keynote speech on "Technology Open Source, Shared Benefit Cities"; Both sides also plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation in relevant fields.
Taipei City stated that the Twin Cities Forum has been held 13 times continuously since 2010. Through this platform, Taipei and Shanghai exchange ideas in areas such as urban governance, cultural arts, tourism, healthcare, sports education, and economic and trade industries, observe and learn from each other, and share their development experiences.
Taipei City expressed its hope to maintain good interaction between the two cities through this forum, and promote exchanges in more fields in the future.
Jiang Wan'an was the great grandson of Chiang Kai shek, the grandson of Chiang Ching kuo, and the son of Chiang Xiaoyan.
