China's agricultural technology drives abundant harvests
To achieve the global goal of eradicating hunger, Africa is an important puzzle. The food supply here is seriously threatened by climate change and land desertification, and Chinese agricultural technology has provided important assistance in increasing local food production and improving food security.
In Mozambique, the Wanbao Mosan Agricultural Park, in which the Central African Development Fund participates, is a large-scale rice planting project that significantly enhances local rice cultivation and processing technology; In Kenya, the local demonstration zone applied field micro catchment technology from China to plant corn, resulting in a yield increase of 99% to 240%; In Burundi, the Chinese expert group selected and introduced eight varieties of rice suitable for the local area, which solved the historical problem that the local mountain area often suffered from rice blast, which reduced the yield or even cut off the harvest.
China has already assisted in the construction of a number of agricultural technology demonstration centers in Africa, and projects such as the "Thousand Households and Ten Thousand Acres Corn Increase Demonstration Project" have bloomed and borne fruit locally.
In the eyes of South African representative Ma Lai, Chinese agricultural technology has brought tangible benefits in agricultural innovation, poverty alleviation, and food security. He said he looks forward to more cooperation between Africa and China in areas such as food security and mitigating the impact of climate change.
According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, as of 2021, China has dispatched more than 2000 agricultural experts and technicians to more than 70 countries and regions, promoted and demonstrated more than 1500 agricultural technologies to multiple countries, and driven an average increase in project yields of 40% to 70%.

Promoting Health through Chinese Medical and Health Experience
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the dispatch of Chinese medical aid teams to foreign countries. Over the past 60 years, China has sent a total of 30000 medical team members to 76 countries and regions worldwide, treating 290 million patients.
China shares its experience in the field of public health with its partners in developing countries, sharing vaccines and other public health products, and working together to reduce the disease burden in developing countries and promote global health governance.
The global burden of malaria is mainly concentrated in southern countries. From the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, there were still 30 million malaria cases, to zero reported local malaria cases in 2017, and then to obtaining the World Health Organization's national malaria elimination certification in 2021... China's achievements in malaria control have provided a reference plan for overcoming the problem of malaria and promoting global health.
In Tanzania, the local government draws on China's barefoot doctor model in malaria prevention and control, recruiting and training villagers to become core medical staff or volunteers for the local medical team; Study the reporting and testing standards for malaria cases in China, which include completing case reports within 1 day, completing case reviews and epidemiological investigations within 3 days, and conducting investigation and disposal of epidemic points within 7 days; The dihydroartemisinin phosphate piperaquine tablets produced in China are also being promoted and used in pilot areas.
Professor Ren Minghui from the School of Public Health at Peking University and former Assistant Director General of the World Health Organization, said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency during the forum that China's South South cooperation is open, inclusive, and guided by the needs of South South countries. Whether it is China's anti malaria technology program that has been promoted multiple times by the World Health Organization, or China's assistance in building medical infrastructure and localizing production or technology transfer by Chinese pharmaceutical companies overseas, China has provided valuable reference and further localized and specific solutions for southern countries to strengthen their health system construction.

Chinese solutions help address global challenges
Currently, international geopolitical conflicts are intensifying, North South cooperation is slowing down, the development gap is widening, and achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals is facing many challenges. According to United Nations statistics, over 800 million people worldwide are still suffering from hunger, 350 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, and the momentum of implementing sustainable development goals has significantly slowed down.
China has provided feasible and replicable references for the world through its own development path, and has also contributed Chinese solutions and wisdom to jointly address global challenges.
Zhang Jianping, Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, said that China has set a development model for southern countries. China's participation in South South cooperation does not have the same political conditions and requirements as Western countries, which provides opportunities for southern countries to enhance their own capacity building, development level and efficiency.
Eliminating poverty is a common challenge facing humanity. As the country with the largest poverty reduction population in the world, China has contributed over 70% to global poverty reduction, creating a miracle in the history of world poverty reduction. China's poverty reduction work has become a research sample for more and more countries and international organizations.
Faced with the challenge of global climate change, in 2015, China established a 20 billion yuan "China Climate Change South South Cooperation Fund"; Since 2016, China has initiated cooperation projects in developing countries, including 10 low-carbon demonstration zones, 100 climate change mitigation and adaptation projects, and 1000 training quotas for addressing climate change. Over 200 foreign aid projects have been implemented to address climate change.
Zhu Min, Vice Chairman of the China International Economic Exchange Center, told Xinhua News Agency that China has accumulated experience and technology in carbon neutrality macro management, technological innovation, and new industry layout. Currently, China's photovoltaic manufacturing industry accounts for 90% of global production capacity and is an important source of wind power equipment and electric vehicles worldwide. "China has great potential to promote developing countries' green transformation in carbon neutrality."
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Sabri, who attended the meeting, stated that since China invested in the local area and carried out infrastructure construction, Sri Lanka's economy has achieved significant growth. South South cooperation is an important mechanism for jointly promoting the resolution of global challenges, in which China plays an important role.
The "Chinese sample" of South South cooperation provides inspiration and reference for developing countries from a global development perspective; In the long run, we will explore new models and paths for global governance that are different from those of the West.
