Sudden! A drone hits a high-rise building in Moscow for use | drone | Moscow
According to Russian Sputnik News Agency on August 1, Sergey Sobyanin, mayor of Moscow, the Russian capital, said that a drone hit a tall building in the Moscow Business Center.
"Several drones attempting to fly to Moscow were shot down by air defense systems. One of them hit the previous building, causing damage to the 17th floor facade. The emergency department is working on-site," Sobyanin said on the "Telegraph" social media platform
On July 30th, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Ukraine attempted to launch an attack on Moscow facilities using three drones, one of which was shot down by an air defense system and two were suppressed by electronic warfare systems.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated, "On the morning of July 30th, the Kiev regime's attempt to launch a terrorist attack on facilities in Moscow using drones was thwarted. A Ukrainian drone was destroyed by air defense systems over the Okinazovsky district of Moscow Oblast. Two other drones were suppressed by the Russian electronic warfare system and subsequently lost control, crashing into a non residential building area of Moscow International Business Center."
Sobyanin stated on the same day that Ukrainian drones launched attacks at night, causing minor damage to the exterior walls of two office buildings at the Moscow International Business Center.
