Recently, the Shanghai police cracked a fraud case involving "routine job applications" with a total amount of over 50 million yuan. According to the job requirements of enterprises, fraud gangs fabricate and forge educational certificates, work resumes, and past performance materials in a targeted manner, carefully packaging themselves as "perfect applicants". However, after joining the company, they become passive and even work in multiple companies at the same time, in order to defraud their basic salary.
On the morning of July 6th, the Shanghai Cyberspace Administration, in conjunction with the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Economic Investigation Brigade of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, held a guidance meeting on the classification of online recruitment service platforms. Thirteen online recruitment service platforms attended the conference, including 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, 51m+, etc.
The Shanghai Cyberspace Administration, in conjunction with typical cases of information content security, personal information protection, and network water army governance, will promote laws and regulations such as the Cyberspace Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, guiding various online recruitment service platforms to establish and improve information release review mechanisms and complaint reporting systems, and create a trustworthy, fair, and orderly employment environment. The Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security introduced the relevant requirements for the compliant development of the online recruitment service industry. The Economic Investigation Brigade of the Municipal Public Security Bureau reported on the relevant situation of the "routine job application" case.
Shanghai Cyberspace Administration reminds that if any online recruitment service platform discovers that job seekers have repeatedly modified their education or work experience in a short period of time, or have been complained about by multiple recruitment companies, it is necessary to raise awareness of prevention, timely issue risk warnings to recruitment companies, and report relevant clues to the competent department.
