Recently, CITIC Group detected that illegal individuals have registered its subsidiaries Beijing CITIC Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd. as shareholders through forging official seals, signatures, and other means.

After verification, it was found that the relevant companies were established by criminals in the name of Beijing CITIC Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd. by submitting false materials and concealing facts through fraudulent means.

CITIC Group stated that CITIC Group and its subsidiaries have no affiliation or equity relationship with related companies, nor any investment, cooperation, or business relationship, and all of their actions are unrelated to CITIC Group and its subsidiaries.

CITIC Group reminds investors to be vigilant and pay attention to investment risks to avoid personal information leakage or property damage. If you find any illegal activities carried out under the name of a subsidiary of CITIC Group, please immediately report to the public security organs to protect your legitimate rights and interests.

From the statement of CITIC Group, it can be seen that the two subsidiaries of CITIC Group, Beijing CITIC Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd., were falsely used by criminals. Both subsidiaries are 100% controlled by CITIC Group and are listed on the positive list of enterprises authorized by CITIC to use trademarks and trade names.

According to a notice released on the official website of CITIC Group last month, a total of 338 companies have been authorized to use the CITIC trademark and trade name.

According to Tianyancha information, there are currently multiple invested enterprises under Beijing CITIC Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd. Among them, Shenzhen Zhongtengyun Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Kuntai International Trade Co., Ltd., which are "anti-counterfeiting" companies of CITIC Group, are among them. Most of the companies were established from May to June 2023.

Previously, in December 2022, CITIC Group issued a statement to crack down on counterfeit products related to Yunnan Kuntai International Trade Co., Ltd. CITIC Group claims that the company was established in the name of Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd. by criminals who submitted false materials and concealed facts through fraudulent means.

At that time, CITIC Group stated that Beijing CITIC Enterprise Project Management Co., Ltd. had lawfully reported and complained to the market supervision department about the company's false registration behavior. After half a year, not only is Yunnan Kuntai International Trade Co., Ltd. still operating normally, but more than a dozen "Li Gui" companies have also emerged.

In addition, in March of this year, CITIC Group also issued a statement on the situation of enterprises such as CITIC International Industry Group Co., Ltd. impersonating CITIC Group's subsidiary companies to carry out business activities. CITIC Group has monitored the establishment of "CITIC Overseas International Trade Group Co., Ltd.", "China CITIC Capital Management Group Co., Ltd.", and "CITIC International Industry Group Co., Ltd." in Hong Kong, as well as their affiliated enterprises established domestically, conducting business activities under the name of a subsidiary of CITIC Group.

CITIC Group declares that the relevant enterprises have no affiliated relationship with China CITIC Group Co., Ltd., China CITIC Corporation Limited, and CITIC Capital Holding Co., Ltd. All project cooperation, investment, construction and other activities carried out by them are unrelated to CITIC Group, CITIC Corporation Limited, and CITIC Capital.

On June 29th, State Power Investment Corporation of China issued a solemn statement on the situation of illegal enterprises counterfeiting subsidiaries of State Power Investment Corporation of China. The statement states that recently, State Power Investment Corporation discovered that criminals have registered China Power Investment Urban Construction and Development Co., Ltd., State Power Investment Urban Construction Co., Ltd., Beijing Guofa Zhonghui Technology Co., Ltd., and Fujian Xinyuan Zhicheng Industrial Co., Ltd. as subsidiaries of the group through forging relevant materials and other means.

According to State Power Investment Corporation, after verification, the above-mentioned company and its series of subsidiaries have no affiliation or equity relationship with State Power Investment Corporation, nor any investment, cooperation, or business relationship. All of its actions are unrelated to the group. In addition, the EPC general contracting bidding for a 4GW photovoltaic off grid hydrogen production project recently released on the internet, and the bidder, Zhongguangtong Technology Co., Ltd., is not a subsidiary of the State Power Investment Corporation of China. There are many similar statements. On June 28th, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd. issued a solemn statement stating that someone recently impersonated the name of China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd. to establish a project command center, falsely claiming to cooperate with relevant companies in pipeline projects and bidding activities, which is illegal and even constitutes a crime. The above actions have had an adverse impact on the normal operation of the company and have affected its goodwill.

On the same day, the Scientific Research Institute of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves issued a statement stating that there were illegal elements in society who used the name of the Central Military Grain Supply Service Center to invest in and register companies, and engaged in fraudulent activities in multiple places under the name of state-owned enterprises. The Zhongrong Military Grain Supply Service Center has ceased all business activities and external investment activities since March 2013. The center has no staff, and its official seal, license, etc. have been returned to the industrial and commercial authorities for destruction. There are no subordinate enterprises.

Prior to this, China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd., China Railway Group, COMAC, and others have all issued similar statements and exposed various scams.
