Youth is the vanguard force for the development of the Party and the country. Looking back at history, from the period of the New Democratic Revolution when young people overcame numerous difficulties and rushed to Yan'an, to the period of socialist revolution and construction when they "dedicated their youth to the motherland", to the new era of reform and opening up and socialist modernization when they "went to the places where the motherland and the people most needed", and then to the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics when "clear love is only for China", generations of Chinese youth, guided by the flag of the Party, have devoted their youth and sweat to the cause of the Party with the will of the Party and the mission of the Party, painting a magnificent picture of the cause of Chinese youth. It has been proven that listening to and following the Party is not only a political requirement for Chinese youth, but also a necessary path for them to realize their life values.

The red gene coagulates the determination of belief, loyalty to the organization, and practice of the purpose, casting the most distinctive political character of the CPC.We should draw nourishment from the hundred year history of the Communist Party of China, guide young people to enhance their sense of historical responsibility and mission in inheriting the red genes, elevate their ideological realm in the influence of red culture, and establish correct life goals in the historical trend of building a strong country and national rejuvenation. We should guide young people to inherit the red tradition of the CPC's original mission. The CPC has always taken working for the happiness of the Chinese people and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as its original mission. Young people should fully understand the people's dominant position and role, and establish the spirit of living up to the people's family and country feelings and dedication to the Party and the people.

Encourage young people to shoulder the mission of the times in the construction of Chinese path to modernization. The central task of the Party has drawn a blueprint and provided guidance for the future development of Chinese youth.
