A number of typical violations have been severely investigated and punished. The recent typical cases are reported as follows:

Case 1: Boluo Training School in Hongshan District conducted disciplinary training in violation of regulations during the summer vacation

On the morning of July 29, 2023, the undercover investigation team discovered on site that the Boluo Training School in Hongshan District, Wuhan City was organizing disciplinary training. After verification by the Education Bureau of Hongshan District, on the morning of that day, the institution conducted subject training for 82 students, involving multiple subjects such as mathematics, English, physics, and chemistry, which violated the "double reduction" policy of "not occupying national statutory holidays, rest days, and organizing subject training during winter and summer vacations.".

The Education Bureau of Hongshan District has taken serious measures against the institution's violations: firstly, it has ordered the institution to immediately stop illegal training activities, evacuate students in an orderly manner, and ensure their safe return home; The second is to interview the legal representative of the institution; The third is to shut down training venues; The fourth is to refund training fees within a limited time; The fifth is to temporarily suspend the school license of the institution and initiate the administrative procedure of revoking the school license.

Case 2: Wuxue Smart Tree Education Technology Co., Ltd. conducted off campus training without approval

On July 18, 2023, a joint inspection team consisting of the Education Bureau, Culture and Tourism Bureau, Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, and Market Supervision Bureau of Wuxue City inspected Wisdom Tree Education Technology Co., Ltd. and found that the institution was providing subject training in mathematics, English, chemistry, and other subjects to 55 primary and secondary school students, violating the "double reduction" policy of "not occupying national statutory holidays, rest days, and organizing subject training during winter and summer vacations". At the same time, the institution has not obtained a school license and is suspected of violating relevant national regulations by establishing private schools without authorization.

The joint inspection team issued a notice of rectification on site, ordering the institution to stop violating educational regulations and refund the fees collected. The Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Wuxue City has launched an investigation into the institution's suspected violation of relevant national regulations in establishing private schools without authorization.

Case 3: An individual named Xiong in Yicheng City organized disciplinary training in violation of regulations

On July 24, 2023, after receiving reports from the public, the Education Bureau of Yicheng City, in conjunction with the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Emergency Management Bureau, the Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau, the Public Security Bureau, the Fire Rescue Brigade and other departments, conducted on-site inspections and found that freelancer Xiong organized 45 students to receive English subject training in Room 302, Unit 1, South Street Community, the original printing factory in Yicheng City, which was a violation of the "one to many" subject training in residential buildings and violated the relevant policy provisions of "double reduction".

Case 4: Fankou Chuangyou Trusteeship Center in Echeng District organized disciplinary training in violation of regulations

On July 13, 2023, the Education Bureau of Echeng District conducted an inspection of the Fankou Chuangyou Trusteeship Center and found that the center was organizing 31 junior high school students to take supplementary subject courses, which was a violation of the "double reduction" policy by organizing subject training under the name of trusteeship.

The Education Bureau of Echeng District criticized and educated the person in charge of the custody center, issued a notice of suspension, ordered the cessation of illegal educational activities, sealed training classrooms, safely evacuated students on site, and refunded training fees within a specified period of time.

Case 5: Chongyang County's Love Trust Violates Discipline Training Organization

On July 20, 2023, a joint inspection team was formed by the Education Bureau, Public Security Bureau, Culture and Tourism Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau and other departments of Chongyang County to conduct an off campus training inspection. It was found that the Love Trust Institution in Chongyang County is an unlicensed off campus trust institution and has engaged in illegal organization of disciplinary training. The institution opened one custody class during the summer and enrolled 26 students, with a planned one month training.

The joint inspection team of Chongyang County interviewed Zhang, the organizer of the institution, and issued a notice of closure. Require the institution to notify parents on the spot to pick up the students and request a full refund of the fees within a specified period of time. Notify the entire county of the institution's illegal organization of disciplinary training, and include it in the "blacklist".

Case 6: Daye Tonghui English organized disciplinary training in violation of regulations

On July 28, 2023, 13 departments in Daye City, including education, public security, market supervision, science and technology, civil affairs, urban management, and cultural tourism, jointly conducted an inspection at Tonghui English. More than 40 primary school students and 3 junior high school students were present at the scene. After questioning and checking the information, it was found that the institution violated regulations by organizing English language subject training during the summer vacation and was suspected of using illegal publications.

The inspection team ordered the institution to stop illegal training activities on site, evacuate students properly, communicate and hand over to parents, and complete the refund work within a specified time limit. The cultural and tourism department has filed a case against suspected use of illegal publications.

Case 7: The Xiaojudeng Training Center in Duodao District conducts subject based training with hidden variations

On July 20, 2023, the Office of the Special Coordination Mechanism for "Double Reduction" in Duodao District conducted a special action inspection on "Supervision and Protection of Seedlings", and found that the Xiaojudeng Training Center in Duodao District is organizing disciplinary training. After investigation, it was found that the institution was originally a disciplinary institution and later transformed into training programs in calligraphy, eloquence, art, dance, and other fields. However, on-site inspections found that 12 students were undergoing cultural training, which is considered as continuing to engage in disciplinary training in violation of regulations after the transformation.

The inspection team ordered the center to immediately stop illegal training activities, confiscate illegal training materials, and safely and orderly evacuate students. Case 8: Hubei Shihuan Education Consulting Co., Ltd. in Xiaogan High tech Zone conducted disciplinary training in violation of regulations

Case 9: "Fake Cancellation and Real Operation" of Green Bean English in Xiantao City Conducted Violation Discipline Training

On July 10, 2023, during a law enforcement inspection of the original Green Bean English by the summer off campus training joint rectification special class in Xiantao City, it was found that the training institution was occupying summer time and hiring college students to illegally conduct primary school English subject training for more than 20 students. The institution applied to terminate its operation in December 2021, but engaged in disciplinary training in violation of regulations.

The joint rectification special team issued a notice of closure on the spot, ordering the person in charge of the institution, Wang, to immediately evacuate students in an orderly and safe manner, and to complete the refund properly within a specified time limit, and not to continue illegal education. Case 10: Yunyang District Cultural and Educational Training School organizes disciplinary training in violation of regulations during the summer vacation

On July 11, 2023, after receiving a report from the public, the Education Bureau of Yunyang District quickly conducted an inspection of Yunyang District's cultural and educational training schools in conjunction with the Chengguan Town Government and the Chengguan Town Central School. It was verified on site that there were violations in conducting subject training, and 38 high school students were recruited to participate in subject training.

The inspection team evacuated students on site, issued a notice of suspension, ordered the institution to fully refund tuition fees, and stopped promoting and enrolling students in subject training. Establish a warranty responsibility and arrange personnel to conduct key regulatory inspections on the institution.

At present, some institutions and individuals still violate the national "double reduction" policy by conducting disciplinary training in violation of regulations. Next, the education administrative departments at the provincial, municipal, and county levels will work with relevant departments to continuously increase their efforts in conducting investigations and law enforcement inspections on off campus training institutions. If any incidents are discovered, they will be dealt with severely and publicly disclosed.

During the summer vacation, any disciplinary training conducted by training institutions or individuals in any form is considered illegal training. Parents should consciously resist and not send their children to participate.
