Today, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held an on-site promotion meeting for the reform of state-owned enterprises in Northeast China in Shenyang, promoting the deepening of the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises. The three northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will jointly hold a symposium with large domestic enterprises for the first time this afternoon, and hold a project signing ceremony, with an expected total signed investment of over 500 billion yuan.
This morning, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council visited Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. and General Technology Group Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. for research. Enterprises such as China Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd., Shenyang Group Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Electric Power Co., Ltd. introduced the situation of accelerating the implementation of the new round of state-owned enterprise reform, deepening and upgrading actions. The State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region exchanged speeches. The meeting discussed and explored solutions to issues such as poor layout of state-owned capital, strong administrative color of state-owned enterprises, severe homogenization competition, heavy historical burden, and scattered supervision of operating state-owned assets. This afternoon, the people's governments of Liaoning Province, Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will also jointly host the "Symposium on State owned Assets and Central Enterprises Supporting the Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China".
CCTV reporter Yan Qifeng: The Northeast Revitalization Road is a platform for the three provinces in Northeast China and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to showcase their respective advantageous industries. Representatives from 60 large domestic enterprises will use this approximately 300 meter corridor to gain a more intuitive understanding of the industrial advantages and development potential of the Northeast region. This is also the first time that the three provinces and one region have engaged in close communication with large domestic enterprises in this form.
After the exchange meeting, a signing ceremony for projects between the three northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and enterprises will be held. It is expected that more than 50 large enterprises will sign contracts with the three northeastern provinces and one region, with over 100 signed projects and a total investment expected to exceed 500 billion yuan, covering multiple fields such as industry, agriculture, energy, and infrastructure.
