On July 29th, the official Weibo account of Badaling Great Wall announced that the park will be closed and the scenic area will be temporarily closed from July 30th, 2023. The resumption of reception time will be announced separately.

Dear tourists
According to the prediction of the meteorological station, heavy rainstorm will occur in Yanqing District from the evening of July 29 to the evening of August 1, and extremely heavy rainstorm will occur in some areas.
To ensure the safety of tourists' lives and property, the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area will be closed and temporarily closed from July 30, 2023. The resumption of reception time will be announced separately.
Tourists who have completed online booking and ticket purchase will be refunded through the original payment channel, and refund information will be notified through the phone number you have reserved.
