On June 18th, a Red Star News reporter reported this situation to the Nanyang Depot of China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd., and later received a call from the staff of Tanghe Railway Station in response. The staff member stated that Tanghe Railway Station is a small station with slightly tight personnel allocation. Most of the station staff come from other places, and they are arranged to work twice, with two days and two nights. So the staff will take a break between the arrival of the train. Usually, the waiting room and ticket hall announce their availability to the public, and residents in the county are aware of this situation when traveling.

The staff member stated that on the afternoon of June 17th, there was a meal break when the staff left, and the business began before 6:30 pm. The local railway department stipulates that the train must open for business one hour before departure. But it also stated that there was rain on the afternoon of the 17th, and passengers should not be allowed to wait. But due to a special request on that day, the staff did not leave work and needed a break to rest.
