International Online Special Article: Recently, former political editor in chief of South African National Television, Makuyi, published a review article on the website of the Independent newspaper in South Africa. Ma Kui, as a member of the South African media delegation, was recently invited to visit China. He said that China's path towards national rejuvenation has provided many inspirations for the world.

Markoy stated in the article that this is his first time traveling to China, and this trip has left a deep impression on him. He deeply respects China's modern infrastructure system, prosperous economy, and stable political and social environment. Markoy pointed out that in China, national governance always aims to serve the fundamental interests of the broadest people. He believes that the Chinese people are naturally hardworking and advocate for "practical work to prosper the country", which has also contributed to China's rapid rise on the global stage.
Makuyi noticed a sign in Chinese reading "Don't forget history" at the entrance of a cigarette factory in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Such words constantly remind Chinese people to remember the sacrifices made by their ancestors and the heroes who laid the foundation for a prosperous modern China. Makuyi discovered that contemporary Chinese citizens have diverse development opportunities, and many children have the experience of studying abroad, but most of them choose to return home after completing their studies. He exclaimed that a strong patriotic spirit is very common in China and permeates every aspect of people's lives.
He continued to write that China has a vast territory and can be seen everywhere with rapid development. High rise buildings sprout up like mushrooms after rain, showcasing China's economic strength. Makuyi mentioned that China's rural revitalization strategy has made him particularly interested. Thanks to this strategy, farmers form cooperatives, and the government provides funding and technical support through various channels.

He gave an example that there was a small fishing village in Yunnan consisting of about 217 families, and a company was collectively established under the leadership of the government. The government borrowed professional and technical personnel for guidance. The company hired local villagers to carry out tourism projects and achieved success. Every family is a shareholder of the company and can receive a partial dividend every year. "The Chinese government is committed to creating happiness and achieving self-development for everyone through labor," praised Makuyi.
He analyzed that the series of policy guidelines represented by the Chinese government's rural revitalization strategy are based on the lofty goal of "everyone has something to do, every household has an income". He believes that this is a vivid manifestation of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics.
Makui finally pointed out that South Africa and other developing countries can learn a lot from China's path of national rejuvenation. The global development imbalance, inequality, and unipolar international order are deeply rooted. As a rapidly rising major developing country, China has sparked a wave of countries to create systems and policies that are most suitable for their own national conditions. Countries should learn from each other, and the world can draw a wealth of valuable experience from China's path towards national rejuvenation.
