At around 12:00 am on July 20, 2023, there was a conflict between tourists passing through the Tianquan Service Area in the Ya'an to Kangding direction of the Yakang section of the G4218 Yaye Expressway due to queuing order issues during photo check-in, which later escalated into a physical conflict between the two sides.
After receiving the alarm, the police force of the Ninth Brigade of the Fourth Branch of the Highway Public Security Bureau of the Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department arrived at the scene in a timely manner and quickly controlled the situation. The relevant personnel have arrived at Tianquan County People's Hospital in Sichuan Province for examination as soon as possible, and all parties involved have gone to the public security organs to cooperate with the investigation.
