The reporter learned from the Office of the Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Control Command of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that from August 6th to 8th, 14 lightning forest fires occurred successively in Arongshan, Mangui, Genhe, and the northern primitive forest areas, showing a trend of concentrated outbreaks at multiple points.
In addition, the reporter learned from the Satellite Remote Sensing Department of the Ecological and Agricultural Meteorological Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that on the 8th, according to satellite remote sensing monitoring, there were multiple abnormal high temperature points in the forest farm of Genhe City, Inner Mongolia. At 7:00 on the 9th, the high-temperature area at the Abei Ercha in Genhe City further developed towards the surrounding areas.
