According to Agence France Presse on August 16th, Russia displayed seized Western military equipment at the "Military 2023" forum.
According to reports, a military officer wearing a military cap stands in front of a seized American MaxxPro armored vehicle at the Patriot Park in Moscow, which is dedicated to showcasing the achievements of the Russian military.
The officer told the official Russian news agency TASS, "It was abandoned on a battlefield because it stopped working."
Later, he turned to a British "Husky" armored vehicle, whose windshield was covered with small eyes that looked like bullet holes.
There are also more Western military equipment on display around, which is an opportunity for the Russian military to show off its achievements and mock Ukraine's counterattack launched in June this year.
A few meters away, another Russian officer is showing off a French AMX-10RC light tank and its famous anti tank gun for its length.
The "spoils" seen by Agence France Presse reporters on the 15th also include an Australian "Viper" armored vehicle, an American M113 armored personnel carrier, and a Swedish CV90 tank.
On August 15th, during the "Military 2023" forum, people filmed a captured Swedish CV9040 armored tank at the exhibition site in Kubinka Patriot Park on the outskirts of Moscow.
The news agency of the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that a large part of the exhibition is composed of British equipment, including the Husky armored vehicle and the Beagle armored vehicle, as well as a Saxon armored personnel carrier.
According to reports, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited the exhibition on the 16th. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, responsible for handling issues related to the Russian military industry.
According to a video from Russia's official news agency, Agence Novosti, Medvedev said during a visit to a military vehicle reportedly from Australia, "Advanced technology is worth a look."
Medvedev also visited some items aimed at showcasing the "ideological indoctrination" of Ukrainian youth, including clothing with ethnic slogans and the logo of the Azov camp. Russia believes that the Azov camp is an extremist organization.

This exhibition also prominently showcases Ukrainian made weapons reportedly seized since the start of Russian military operations in February 2022.
Last summer, the Russian military had already exhibited some equipment they claimed to have brought back from Ukraine.
This exhibition is one of the highlights of the "Military 2023" forum. The forum will continue until August 20th, and military delegations from countries considered "friendly" by Moscow will attend the forum.
After suffering setbacks last year - when Russia withdrew from the northern regions of Kherson and Kharkiv - the Russian military hopes to show that it has regained its vitality.
Ukraine launched another counterattack in June this year, but its army is currently struggling to deal with a stable Russian position.
The slow progress of the Ukrainian army has provided a new argument for the Kremlin: Ukraine's counterattack has failed.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting of international military officials on the 15th, "Ukraine's military resources have almost been depleted."
The report quotes Shoigu as saying that Western weapons "have nothing unique", and for Russian weapons, they are not invincible on the battlefield.
Shaoigu said, "We are prepared to share an assessment of Western technological weaknesses."
Russia has been launching an offensive against Ukraine for over 17 months, and the capability of the Russian military industrial complex is one of the main challenges facing the Kremlin.
According to reports, Shoigu said that despite international sanctions, Russia has successfully "vigorously" increased its armored vehicle production.
