She exposed three big lies of NATO! USA | NATO | Lies
Recently, Sevim Dadellen, a left-wing member of the German Federal Parliament, mercilessly exposed three major lies of NATO, a military organization serving American hegemony, in a heartwarming speech.
The first lie exposed by Darren was that NATO is a defensive organization.
Da Dailun vehemently rebuked: Isn't it this so-called "defensive organization" that disregarded international law and launched a war against the former Yugoslavia, bombing civilians, television stations - and even the Chinese embassy? Isn't it that NATO launched a 20-year war in Afghanistan, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians and committing countless war crimes?
"Do you call this' defensive '?" she questioned.
Next, Darren exposed NATO's second lie: NATO is an alliance of democracy and the rule of law.
Dadellen said that this is first and foremost a completely untrustworthy lie, as NATO had invited the Portuguese dictator Salazar with a "fascist" nature in the last century and his regime that launched a colonial war against Africa to join NATO.
Dadellen also criticized that the various illegal wars launched by the United States and its allies over the past 20 years have resulted in 4.5 million deaths. Moreover, Darren emphasized that this number was derived from the research of scholars from Brown University, a well-known Ivy League university in the United States.
Geng Zhige searched public information and found that this 4.5 million death toll comes from a research project called "The Cost of War" at the Watson School of International and Public Affairs at Brown University. The project conducted an investigation into Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and parts of Pakistan, which have been ravaged by US wars over the past 22 years. It was found that the US wars directly resulted in 937000 deaths and approximately 3.6-3.7 million indirect deaths.
"Do you call this compliance with international law?" asked Darren.
And the third NATO lie exposed by Darren is that NATO "defends human rights".
On the one hand, Darren pointed out the crimes of the United States, a NATO member country, in abusing prisoners at Guantanamo Prison, and on the other hand, accused the United States of persecuting journalist Assange who exposed his war crimes.
Finally, Daredelen concluded that the truth is simply that NATO is a war alliance that violates and tramples on international law and human rights. Any NATO member will lose their democratic sovereignty because it is an alliance driven by the hegemonic interests of the United States. Any NATO member will also sacrifice the well-being of the people for engaging in a major arms policy.
"One out of every five children in our country is trapped in poverty, but Germany's military spending is increasing day by day," scolded Darren. "This is a shame.".
Darren called on Germany to withdraw from the killing NATO and demanded that the United States withdraw its troops and nuclear weapons from Germany.
We need peace, not NATO.
