According to the relevant person in charge of the Air Force Recruitment Bureau, compared with the past, in 2023, the Air Force achieved all 31 provinces to fly, with a steady increase in the number of recruits and a continuous improvement in the comprehensive quality of admitted flight students. This recruitment has ensured that the overall physical and mental fitness of the admitted flight students is excellent by upgrading instruments and optimizing testing methods. The proportion of students who meet the physical standards of fighter pilots has significantly increased, and 95% of the flight potential assessment has reached an excellent level.
It is reported that in order to fully stimulate the sense of honor and pride of newly admitted flight students, the Air Force will use multiple Y-20 aircraft from five boarding points in Shijiazhuang, Jinan, Nanjing, Changsha, and Chengdu on the 19th and 20th to transport new flight students to the Air Force Aviation University for registration.
