Guided by the concept of "green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as gold and silver", over the past 20 years, Yucun in Anji County, Zhejiang Province has undergone a brilliant transformation from cement factories and mines to "people walking in Yucun is like traveling in a painting". The large gray areas in satellite cloud images are now covered by a plethora of green, ranging from "industrial birds" to "ecological countryside". The people of Yucun have seen the beautiful scenery and enriched their spirit.

Picture: In the past, this was an old cement factory that had been abandoned for many years in Yucun, surrounded by devastation. Through land reclamation, the surface scar has now been restored to a good ecology, and the local area is preparing to transform the old factory into a mining music valley.

Image description: This used to be the office building of the wire drawing factory and cement factory in Yucun. In 2020, most of the factories were demolished and restored to farmland and vegetation. The remaining facilities have been transformed into the "Yucun Impression" cultural and creative library, which includes multiple functional areas such as book reading, rural cultural and creative, and educational research.

Illustrated: The Henglu Yinshan Industrial Park located in Tianhuangping Town, Anji County, was demolished in 2019 to promote local industrial upgrading and transformation. Nowadays, through the transfer of land and the launch of the "Spring and Fragrance" project, the old factory area has achieved spatial pattern reconstruction, industrial cluster reconstruction, and ecological environment reconstruction.

Pujiang County, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, is known as the "Crystal Capital of China". Over 20 years ago, more than 20000 crystal processing workshops gathered in the county. Workers ground glass in the polluted sheds every day, and waste residue and wastewater were directly discharged into the river. The local ecology suffered serious damage, and 85% of the rivers in the county became "Milk River", "Garbage River", and "Black and Stinky River".

Under the guidance of the "Ten Million Project", Pujiang County has taken resolute measures to control pollution, and the crystal industry has completed a green transformation. The scale and added value of the crystal industry have increased instead of decreasing. In 2022, the total output value of the crystal industry in Pujiang County was 8.497 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.61%, and it is expected to reach 10 billion yuan by the end of 2023.

Illustrated: The Central Crystal Park in Pujiang County is the largest comprehensive crystal industry park in Pujiang County. In the past, there were various "low scattered" crystal processing workshops scattered here. In 2016, Pujiang County completed the centralized relocation of small workshops into the park. Nowadays, this area has become a comprehensive product production cluster, sewage treatment area, and comprehensive supporting service area.

Picture description: Cuihu Ecological Wetland Park located in Puyang Jiangcheng District, Pujiang County. Before 2013, due to nearby factories discharging sewage and dumping garbage directly into the lake, Cuihu Lake became a well-known stinky water lake and garbage pond on the Puyang River. In order to improve water quality and enhance the landscape of Cuihu Lake, Pujiang has implemented the Cuihu Lake Water Resources Protection Composite Ecological Wetland Project. Nowadays, Cuihu Lake has become a leisure destination for people to exercise, swim, and rest.

Image description: In the area north of Tongle Village and west of Cuihu Lake in Puyang Street, Pujiang County, a group of high pollution factories and breeding sheds were concentrated in the past. From 2013 to 2015, more than 60 illegal buildings such as illegal factories, warehouses, and breeding sheds were demolished during the "Three Improvements and One Demolition" campaign in the local area, with a construction area of approximately 95000 square meters. Nowadays, a comprehensive amusement park integrating amusement, leisure, and sightseeing has been built here.

Thanks to the "Ten Million Project", Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province has polished its ecological foundation and embarked on a path of common prosperity and innovation. Now it has become one of the first pilot projects for high-quality development and construction of a demonstration zone for common prosperity in Zhejiang. With the goal of building a demonstration zone for common prosperity, Chun'an has depicted a new ecological functional zone landscape of "one household, one scenery, one village, one painting, one township, one heaven and earth, and one city, one scenery".

The site was originally a silk drawing factory in the 1990s, but due to the direct discharge of wastewater and exhaust gas, it has caused damage to the surrounding ecology. With the upgrading and transformation of local industries, the wire drawing factory has been demolished. In 2022, the cultural and tourism living room, which integrates functions such as tourism distribution, red learning display, and agricultural product display, was officially completed here.

Picture: Fenglin Port located in Xiajiang Village, Fengshuling Town, Chun'an County. In the early 1990s, a hydroelectric power station was built upstream of Fenglin Port, but the gradual deterioration of the ecology made Fenglin Port once known as a sewage port. Since 2014, Chun'an has implemented domestic sewage treatment and comprehensive treatment projects in the areas where the Fenglin Port watershed flows through. In recent years, the government of Chun'an County has promoted large-scale ecological construction such as afforestation and mountain closure in the entire Fenglin Port basin, and the forest coverage has increased from 26% in 2001 to over 90% today.
