According to TASS Moscow on July 5th, the Russian Federal Government Information Agency stated that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishusky signed an order to dismiss Sergei Mikhailov from his position as President of TASS.
According to reports, Andrei Kondrashov, the former First Vice President of All Russian State Television Broadcasting Corporation, has been appointed as the new President of TASS.
Mikhailov has been serving as the President of TASS since 2012. He also serves as the Chairman of the Council of Presidents of the CIS News Agency, Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific News Agency, and Head of the Media Committee of the Eurasian People's Congress.
Mikhailov is currently 52 years old. During his time working at TASS, he received a certificate of honor from the President of the Russian Federation and received numerous commendations and national awards from the President of Russia. He has also won awards such as the Golden Pen Award and the Russian Media Manager Award from the Moscow Journalists Union. He has been repeatedly included in the "Thousand Most Professional Managers in Russia" list jointly evaluated by the Russian Managers Association and Businessman Daily.
Mikhailov stated that he will announce his future career plans in the near future.

During Mikhailov's approximately 11 years as president, TASS has become a strong competitor in the complex media market, implementing a significant amount of innovative work, from upgrading technological equipment and infrastructure to launching modern digital products. TASS uses all official languages of the United Nations for publication. TASS will celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2024.
According to the report, the new president Kondrashov is a journalist and television host. He was born in Almaty in 1973 and graduated from the Journalism Department of the International Independent University of Environment and Political Science in Moscow. He then obtained a Master's degree in Political Science from the Russian Academy of National Economics and State Administration.
Since 1991, Kondrashov has been working at a television station. He used to be a Central Asian journalist for the All Russian State Television Broadcasting Corporation and hosted several television programs. In 2018, he became the first vice president of the All Russian State Television Broadcasting Company, in charge of reporting business, and has received multiple national awards.
