Romanian Prime Minister Chuk announced his resignation on the 12th, thus initiating the government head rotation process agreed upon at the beginning of the ruling coalition.

He also stated that according to internal agreements within the ruling coalition, the new cabinet is expected to be sworn in on the 15th.
On November 25, 2021, the new Romanian government led by Chuuk was sworn in. The new government is a three party coalition government formed by the National Liberal Party, the Social Democratic Party, and the Hungarian National Democratic Union. According to the agreement reached by the three parties, the position of head of government will be rotated between Chuuk, who was introduced by the National Liberal Party, and Jolaku, the chairman of the Social Democratic Party, before the end of 2024 elections.
