"Retreat from the United States led coalition" UAE | Middle East | United States
The official confirmation from the United Arab Emirates recently stated that the country has withdrawn from a multinational maritime security joint force led by the United States to confront Iran in the Middle East two months ago. This stems from the UAE's consideration of effective security cooperation in the Middle East region.

"This move indicates disappointment with Washington"
The security force that the United Arab Emirates has withdrawn from is called the United Maritime Force, which is led by the highest ranking US naval commander in Bahrain and involves more than 30 countries. It is claimed to be the world's largest maritime security force of this kind, nominally dedicated to promoting security, counter-terrorism, and anti piracy work in the Red Sea and Gulf regions, but in reality, combating Iran is one of its main tasks.

When reporting on the announcement of the withdrawal of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the United Maritime Forces, Al Jazeera Qatar stated that this decision marks the beginning of a change in the geopolitical landscape.
The report cites Christian Ulrikson, a Middle East researcher at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University in the United States, as saying, "The UAE's move indicates that Abu Dhabi is disappointed with Washington.".
Andreas Krieg, Associate Professor of Defence Studies at King's College London, believes that the UAE is increasingly skeptical of the United States' ability to play the role of "regional security guarantor". This view has prompted countries in the region to pursue diversified security partnerships and actively fill security cooperation gaps.

The South Korean newspaper "Sky Daily" pointed out that the timing of the UAE's "withdrawal" from the group is worth pondering. Against the backdrop of the Middle East region and the easing of the tide, the influence of the United States in the Middle East is not as strong as before, and the United Arab Emirates is also withdrawing from its joint maritime forces to get rid of the United States.

Iran's Tehran Times reported that the withdrawal of the United Arab Emirates from the US led joint maritime forces is a clear response from Middle Eastern countries to US hegemony and further confirms the decline of US influence in the region.

Middle Eastern countries gradually break free from US interference
Increased autonomy in diplomatic strategy
The Middle East is one of the most complex geopolitical regions in the world. Recently, the relationship between multiple countries in the Middle East has continued to ease, which reflects a series of positive changes happening in the region. The desire for multiple parties to escape the influence of US Middle East policies is becoming increasingly strong.

Afghan political analyst Abdullah Hussein said in an interview with CCTV reporters that in recent decades, with the intervention of the United States, the Middle East has experienced multiple wars, an unstable political environment, and many countries are facing post-war reconstruction and national transformation. The stalemate in the Middle East is difficult to resolve. But as the Middle East gradually frees itself from US interference, the foreign policies of regional countries become more pragmatic.
Hussein emphasized that with China's active mediation, Iran Saudi Arabia relations have achieved a "constructive transformation", and the wave of Middle East reconciliation has significantly accelerated, which is of great significance for promoting regional peace, security, and stability.
However, in the process of easing relations between Middle Eastern countries, the United States is still working tirelessly to obstruct and sabotage.
Take Syria as an example. On the 19th of last month, Syrian President Bashar al Assad was invited to attend the Arab League summit, which means that Arab countries are once again embracing Syria.

Just like expressing disappointment with the resumption of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran before, the United States has once again taken the opposite stance towards the Arab League's re acceptance of Syria.
US State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel openly declared, "Syria is not worth being readmitted into the Arab League, and we will still not normalize relations with the Syrian government, nor support our allies and partners in doing so."

But the fact that the United States is not worthy of trust and reliance is becoming increasingly clear to some of its traditional allies in the Middle East.
As the regional situation continues to ease, many countries in the Middle East are actively seeking new identities and positioning, prioritizing economic and livelihood development. Many countries are continuously increasing their diplomatic strategic autonomy, striving to break free from the shadow of the US Middle East policy.
Chinese Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Geng Shuang, recently emphasized in a United Nations meeting that countries outside the region should fully respect the wishes of regional countries and peoples, and stop obstructing the dialogue and reconciliation process among Middle Eastern countries.
