Response from the Tourism Bureau: Under processing, the official documents of Weihai City are now the "Yibin City" government | Information | Official Documents
On July 1st, a netizen discovered that the official website of Weihai City Government in Shandong Province, China, released the "Weihai Tourism Bureau Information Disclosure Guide" on March 3rd, 2015, which suspected the use of the term "Yibin City". Netizens question: plagiarism without even changing characters?
On July 3rd, Jiupai News reporters searched the official website of Weihai Municipal People's Government and found that there was indeed this matter.
The first paragraph of the "Weihai Tourism Bureau Information Disclosure Guide" is: "In order to better provide government information disclosure services, and to facilitate the public to quickly and accurately find government information disclosed by the Yibin Municipal Government and municipal administrative agencies in accordance with the law, in accordance with the" the People's Republic of China According to the Regulations on the Disclosure of Government Information, this guide is formulated."
On the noon of July 3rd, a journalist from Jiupai News called the office of Weihai Tourism Bureau regarding this matter. The staff said that the relevant situation had been reported to the leadership and was being processed. No further information was disclosed.
The reporter also found the "Guidelines for Information Disclosure of the People's Government of Yibin City" and found that the first paragraph of this article is similar to the "Guidelines for Information Disclosure of the Tourism Bureau of Weihai City", but not completely consistent.
Subsequently, the reporter further searched and found that the first paragraph of articles on government information disclosure in multiple regions would adopt the wording "In order to better provide government information disclosure services and facilitate the public to quickly and accurately search for xxxx's government information, this guideline is formulated in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Government Information Disclosure.".
On the afternoon of July 3rd at 14:00, when the reporter was publishing, it was found that the above-mentioned problem webpage was in a "404" status, indicating that it had been deleted.
