In March of this year, she received a strange phone call from a teacher at Hubei Shangxue Education Technology Co., Ltd. who claimed that they had a "skill improvement course" where Ms. Gao's children could attend free classes and help their children "improve their grades".

Afterwards, the teacher of the training institution called to give feedback, praising Ms. Gao's child for having great potential. After receiving multiple phone calls, on March 16th, Ms. Gao rushed to the office location of the education and training institution located on the 6th floor of Building B, Wanda Plaza, Huangshigang District, Huangshi City. She paid 6980 yuan for the first time to enroll her son in a physics skills improvement course.
"I only found out after paying the money that it was for the child to watch video lessons," Ms. Gao said. After the fact, she found out that the training institution had her son watch video lessons there every day without any teachers to guide him. When she found the female head of Shangxue Education, she said she needed to pay 6000 yuan in order to arrange one-on-one tutoring with senior teachers. In order for her son to improve his grades, Ms. Gao gritted her teeth and paid this fee.

After paying the money, the other party kept calling Ms. Gao and suggested that she enroll her child in all five "skill improvement courses", with a discount of only over 34000 yuan. Under the constant persuasion of the other party, Ms. Gao enrolled her son in a Chinese language skills improvement course and a one-on-one tutoring class, spending an additional 15792 yuan.
"I didn't fulfill everything I promised. The so-called 'one-on-one' tutoring was for college students to attend classes." Ms. Gao told Jimu News that after spending a total registration fee of 35752 yuan, her child only took about 10 days of classes and found herself in a trap: the education and training institution kept calling to ask Ms. Gao to complete the remaining classes. "I feel constantly harassed, and the other party is asking for money," Ms. Gao said. When she found out that it was not a senior teacher in class, she approached the education and training institution and requested a refund, and the other party immediately turned their backs.

"It's my fault for being too confused. I didn't check online at that time," Ms. Gao said. After registering, she found that no one cared about her child's learning when she arrived at this training institution. Afterwards, she learned from online information that the legal representative of Shangxue Education was a woman surnamed Wang, and her close relationship person Huang had founded a company called Huangshi Weiyuan Education Technology Co., Ltd. Due to failure to operate with integrity, the company was plagued by lawsuits and disputes, and eventually shut down. Due to Huang being included in the list of dishonest individuals, Wang conveniently changed his identity and started the current Shangxue Education Technology Company, with Huang being the actual person in charge.

Huang and Ms. Gao have a conflict
As early as 2021, Weiyuan Education had established more than 10 educational and training institutions in Huangshigang District, Xialu District, and Daye City. However, there were many disputes in the operation process, and parents of students demanded refunds, leading to continuous lawsuits. In November 2021, the education department cancelled the qualification of the education and training institution and added it to the "blacklist".
