At around 20:40 on June 21st, a gas explosion occurred at a barbecue restaurant in Xingqing District, Yinchuan City. Liang Yanshun, Secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress, and Zhang Yupu, Deputy Secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Chairman of the Autonomous Region, rushed to the scene to guide rescue work and visit the injured at the hospital.
