Putin and Seven Nation Leaders Joint Statement Announced! Africa | President | Putin
On August 4th local time, the Kremlin released a joint statement by Russian President Putin and African leaders after their meeting in St. Petersburg.
The statement stated that on July 28th, Russian President Putin and the leaders of the seven African countries who proposed peace initiatives continued to discuss the first African peace initiative proposed on June 17th in St. Petersburg.
The leaders of the participating countries pointed out that the talks have made progress on humanitarian recommendations and unanimously agreed that humanitarian efforts will achieve follow-up results. Call for concrete measures to eliminate export barriers to Russian grain and fertilizers, which will enable the full implementation of the Black Sea port agricultural export agreement to resume. Leaders of various countries have agreed to continue dialogue on the African version of the peace initiative.
The leaders of African countries attending the talks include the Presidents of Comoros, South Africa, Congo, Egypt, Senegal, Uganda, and Zambia.
