In March, a meeting of tourism leaders from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held, which reviewed and approved the 2023 Joint Action Plan for Implementing the Agreement on Tourism Cooperation and Development among Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States and the 2023 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Tourism Year Activity Plan, jointly promoting the prosperity and development of the tourism industry and building a closer Shanghai Cooperation Organization cultural community. Searching for the Past and Exploring the Present, China has provided support for various countries to carry out cultural heritage restoration and archaeological cooperation, writing a new chapter of "beauty and cooperation" in the ancient city of Rahat in Kazakhstan, the Buddhist temple site on the west side of the Red River ancient city in Kyrgyzstan, and the ancient city of Shiva in Uzbekistan——

Along the Millennium Silk Road, the "Silk Road: the road network of Chang'an Tianshan Corridor" jointly declared by China, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan has been successfully included in the The World Heritage List, creating a global precedent for cross-border World Heritage applications. In June, the Third Shanghai Cooperation Organization Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was launched in Qingdao, Shandong, on the coast of the Yellow Sea. More than 500 young people from various member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization participated in more than 200 projects, covering more than 20 sub tracks in the three major fields of new generation information technology, biomedicine, and new materials.

Last November, Pakistan's first intelligent distribution center jointly built by China and Pakistan was put into operation. Compared to the previous manual sorting mode, the center's daily parcel processing capacity can reach up to 420000 pieces, which increases the sorting efficiency of local e-commerce companies by four times and reduces the parcel misclassification rate from 1% to less than 0.3%. At the beginning of this year, the case was selected for the "China Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Cooperation Case Collection". Pakistan's partner Mikkelson stated, "Technological innovation can improve logistics operations and enhance customer experience. China's advanced logistics technology has arrived in Pakistan, and through digital technology, it has helped us improve logistics efficiency."

In just half a year of preparation, the first Luban workshop in Central Asia was launched at the end of last year at the Technical University of Tajikistan, offering two majors: urban thermal energy application technology and engineering surveying. Two teaching areas were established, namely the Green Energy Training Center and the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Training Center, and digital means were used to improve teaching quality. Shahrir Sadurozoda, President of the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan and Vice President of the Technical University of Tajikistan, said that the talents cultivated by these two majors are exactly what the country urgently needs for development and industrial upgrading. The observation area of China Fengyun-2 satellite covers Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, etc. The satellite provides monitoring services such as weather forecasting and disaster prevention and reduction, effectively enhancing the capabilities of these countries in weather, climate, and ecological environment monitoring.

Focusing on cultivating young talents in science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship, Shanghai Cooperation Organization University currently has 82 participating universities and 7 professional directions. The student training has expanded from master's students to undergraduate, doctoral, and vocational students. Under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Youth Committee, the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization Youth Entrepreneurship International Incubator" project has been launched to encourage and support youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
