The above official news shows that Liu Zheng, former Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs, has been appointed as the newly established Deputy Minister of the Central Social Work Department.
Public information shows that Liu Zheng was born in August 1966 and holds a doctoral degree. Liu Zheng has been working in the Ministry of Civil Affairs for a long time, serving as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department, Director of the Social Work Department, Director of the Geographical Names Department, Secretary of the Comprehensive Party Committee for Social Organizations, Director of the Social Organization Management Bureau, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Social Organization Service Center.
In December 2022, Liu Zheng was promoted to the position of Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs, and resigned from this position in June 2023.
