Portable "waist pack air conditioner" is here! The cost of coolness is not small... to fight against hot websites | waist bags | air conditioning
In the scorching summer, many people wish to stay in air-conditioned rooms from morning till night. But how to cool down when you have to go out? A Japanese company has launched a portable air conditioner that can be hung around the waist like a waist bag, aiming to provide users with all-weather coolness.
According to the Japanese website "Sky News 24", this "waist pack air conditioner" is produced by Tokyo Electronics company "Gloture" and will be launched in mid month. It weighs about 488 grams and has a shell containing phase change material. Phase change materials can transition between liquid and solid, or between other non-traditional states, such as transitioning from one crystalline state to another. During the transition, they absorb or release a large amount of thermal energy to achieve cooling or heating effects.
This "waist pack air conditioner" is also equipped with two sets of fans, located on the user's abdomen and waist, with a wind speed of up to 5 meters per second blowing towards the upper body. The company promotional image shows that after the strong wind was turned on, the long hair of the female model was blown away with the wind.
Users can control the wind speed of the "waist pack air conditioner" and turn on or off two sets of fans through mobile application software.
The company said that the battery life of the "waist pack air conditioner" can reach 17 hours, and can be used by people with a waist circumference of 70 to 105 centimeters. However, the cost of coolness is not small - each machine is priced at 32500 yen.
