Polls show that over half of the respondents believe that the US government system is not sound | US government | respondents
On the 20th local time, a latest poll released by Monmouth University in the United States showed that the majority of respondents believe that the US government system is not sound. Meanwhile, over 80% of respondents believe that Americans have significant differences in values.
Data shows that only 42% of respondents believe that the US government system is "basically sound", a decrease from 50% in September last year; 29% of respondents believe that the US government system is "fundamentally inadequate" and requires significant reforms.
The survey also found that up to 81% of respondents believe that Americans have significant differences in important values, which is the highest level since Monmouth University began researching this issue in 2016.
