According to the report, 81.9% of the public believe that the Japanese government's explanation of the issue of nuclear contaminated water being discharged into the sea is "insufficient", and only 29.6% of the public support the discharge of nuclear contaminated water into the sea.
In addition, the opinion poll results also show that the support rate for the cabinet of Fumio Kishida remains at the worst level. The support rate for the cabinet of Fumio Kishida is only 33.6%, and the non support rate has risen to 50%. The last time the non support rate exceeded 50% was in December 2022.
