According to the report, Chen Liuguang highly praised the new progress made in cooperation between various regions in Vietnam and Yunnan Province in recent years, emphasizing Vietnam's consistent policy of strengthening neighborly friendship and comprehensive cooperation with China.
Chen Liuguang also called on both sides to implement the consensus reached by the high-level officials of both parties and countries, strive to achieve a trade volume of 5 billion US dollars between various regions of Vietnam and Yunnan in the next few years, strengthen the interconnection of railway and road transportation infrastructure, promote tourism cooperation, and learn from poverty reduction and sustainable development experiences.
The official website of the Myanmar Ministry of Propaganda reported on August 15th that a Myanmar delegation led by Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Ganzo, Minister of Propaganda Maung Wong, and Minister of Commerce Ang Nai Wu departed from Yangon on the 14th to China to participate in the 7th China South Asia Expo and the 27th Kunming Import and Export Commodity Fair.
