Lawyer Hu Lei from Sichuan Dingchi Law Firm told Jimu News that the man who smashed a car is suspected of intentional destruction of property and will face criminal punishment in the future. "In general, the perpetrator intentionally destroys or damages public or private property, and the value of the damaged property exceeds 5000 yuan, which can constitute the crime of intentional destruction of property. Once convicted, he will face imprisonment, detention, or fines of up to three years."
Lawyer Hu Lei reminds that citizens' legitimate private property is not infringed upon, and the criminal law clearly prohibits intentional destruction of others' property. "Everyone inevitably encounters various problems and contradictions in life, and should calmly think and handle them rationally in a reasonable and legal way to solve their demands. To abide by the law, one should start by holding onto one's emotions and not fall into criminal legal risks due to impulsive actions."
