Xining, Qinghai Province, is implementing the "Wall Demolition and Greening" project, demolishing the park wall and renovating the green belt, integrating the park's beautiful scenery with the street environment, and forming a new scenic line. Since the beginning of this year, there have been 77 parks under construction in Jinan, Shandong Province, of which 42 have been completed. The newly opened Central Park of the International Trade Center has reserved a large amount of lawn space. Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, is integrating the characteristics of Jiangnan gardens into urban greening. This year, it will add and renovate 230 small and micro green spaces and "pocket parks", and add and renovate 2.1 million square meters of urban green space.
In Chongqing, the "two rivers and four banks" of the Yangtze River and Jialing River, as well as the ten major public spaces, have been gradually built. By cleverly utilizing existing resources such as grass seas, forests, and riverbanks, a waterfront with both walking and cycling functions has been created, gradually connecting the ecological beauty into a line. In Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia, small amusement parks with different theme elements and unique designs have been put into use one after another, providing citizens with a place to enjoy and relax while improving the urban green space ecosystem. Liaoyang, Liaoning Province has renovated green trees and planted flowers, turning more than 20 pending plots of land in the city into flower beds and nurseries.
Various regions are making every effort to promote the protection of ancient and famous trees. There are about 12400 ancient and famous trees in Luonan, Shaanxi. A local team of experts in forestry, botany, and soil science has been established to protect these trees and conduct regular on-site diagnosis. Jiangxi Ganzhou, Guangxi Nanning and other places have filed and filed ancient and famous trees, and formulated precise management and maintenance plans for "one tree, one policy". Guangzhou Haizhu District has installed intelligent devices such as tree sensors and soil collectors for hanging ancient trees, achieving real-time monitoring of growth trends.
