On July 27th, the website of the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision reported, citing information from the Jinzhong Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, that Zhang Shaohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Linfen Public Security Bureau, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He has been designated by the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Jinzhong Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
According to the official resume, Zhang Shaohua, male, Han nationality, was born in December 1968 in Linyi, Shanxi Province, with a college degree, joined the CPC in January 1998 and started working in January 1992.
He has served as the Deputy Director of Wenxi County Public Security Bureau, Political Commissar of Jishan County Public Security Bureau, Director of Xinjiang County Public Security Bureau, Director of Wanrong County Public Security Bureau, Deputy County Magistrate and Director of Wenxi County Public Security Bureau, Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of Yuncheng City Public Security Bureau, and other positions. In August 2020, he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of Linfen City Public Security Bureau until this announcement was investigated.
