According to the latest news from the Jiangsu Provincial Meteorological Observatory, starting from the morning of June 10th, thunderstorms, strong winds, and local hail weather will occur along the Yangtze River and north areas of Jiangsu Province from north to south. As of now, 196 townships have experienced extreme winds of level 8 or above, with a maximum onshore wind force of level 12 and a maximum offshore wind force of level 13; The maximum hourly rainfall is 51.4 millimeters. Hailstones appeared in local areas such as Tinghu District and Development Zone in Yancheng City, Sihong Linhuai Town in Suqian, Hai'an City in Nantong, Funing in Yancheng, Huai'an City, and Xinghua in Taizhou, with a maximum diameter of 2-3 centimeters.
According to Nanjing Metro, currently affected by strong winds, according to on-site meteorological monitoring data, the wind force in the Dashengguan bridge section of Line S3 has reached level 8. The Nanjing Metro has activated emergency plans to ensure the safety of citizens, passengers, and operations. The section from Liucun to Maluowei has been temporarily suspended, and the Nanjing South to Liucun Small Interchange is running with an expected travel interval of 8 minutes. The section from Maluowei to Gaojiachong Small Interchange is running with an expected travel interval of 16 minutes.
