Wang Jingwen, who is studying abroad, graduated this year and is planning a graduation trip with her classmates. She believes that it is difficult for her classmates to have the opportunity to get together again after graduation. A graduation trip can deepen our relationship and leave beautiful memories for each other. "Moreover, graduation travel can serve as a transitional buffer for the upcoming new stage." Wang Jingwen believes that graduation travel is not a period, but a comma, "more like a node that helps me better enter the next stage.".
Zheng Shunshun, a recent undergraduate graduate from Chongqing University, has planned a half month graduation trip with seven classmates. In her eyes, graduation travel is a farewell ceremony for college life, "it can broaden my horizons and make me love life more. No matter what I face next, I can bravely pursue what I want and face the future with more fighting spirit.".
Liang Yong is a master's student at a university in Wuhan and also a part-time counselor. She believes that one important aspect of graduation travel is that it can bring about a shift in mindset for students. "On the journey, they face everything that may happen more like adults, with a stronger sense of exploration for unknown situations. Moreover, whether it is traveling with close classmates or with family, they need to take on more responsibilities and take care of others' feelings. At the same time, graduation travel is also a good review of the professional knowledge and life experience learned in the past four years."
Liang Yong pointed out that graduation travel can help students break free from their restless mentality and give themselves a precious period of leisure time. "This period of time is very rare for everyone. In the past, we were all working hard to learn and catch up, and didn't have much free time to calm down and think about our inner needs and ideas. Graduation travel is more like an immersion period, allowing everyone to sink down and think about what kind of person they really want to become, and adjust their state of mind."
Embarking on a graduation journey, 69.9% of surveyed graduates expressed their ability to accumulate energy for the upcoming new stage, 61.9% of surveyed graduates believed that it could increase their understanding of society and better integrate into society, 48.1% of surveyed graduates felt that they could better understand love and cherish, and 44.8% of surveyed graduates believed that it was a farewell to their past learning and life.

"Whenever I embark on a trip, I can't help but feel the vastness and abundance of our country, and want to measure every inch of land with my feet."
Fan Yuyan, a recent undergraduate graduate from a university in Chengdu, is planning a graduation trip with friends. She believes that in the gaps between different stages of life, it is particularly necessary to have a trip. After the college entrance examination, she went on a trip to Xi'an with her classmates. "I still vividly remember when we came out of the subway and saw an old man playing the violin with the song 'Butterfly Lovers'. My companions and I stopped and listened for a while, feeling the warmth and romance of this unfamiliar city in the beautiful music."
Fan Yuyan said that experiencing the beautiful scenery of the motherland through her graduation trip can motivate her to pursue her "poetry and distant places" in her heart. "Watching unique scenery and experiencing local customs on the journey can always motivate oneself to study hard, find a good job, travel to different cities, and enrich travel experience. See more people and experience more things."
Fan Yuyan's major is Marxist theory. Every time she travels, she pays special attention to the local municipal and grassroots service levels, thinks about how to improve unreasonable areas, and how to promote good experiences to the whole country... What she sees and feels during her travels becomes a valuable asset in her learning and research.
"We usually live in cities, and most of our time is limited to the environment of studying and working. On the journey, we can get close to nature, see completely different scenes from usual, and appreciate the beauty of our motherland. I think this is a very meaningful thing." Zheng Shunshun said, "Every time we start a trip, I can't help but feel the vast territory and abundant resources of our country. I want to use my feet to measure every inch of the country's land. Faced with mountains, rivers, and rivers, I often feel my own insignificance, reminding myself to calm down and stay grounded."
"In my opinion, 'poetry' is the beauty and realization of traveling, and 'faraway' is what I will pursue in the future." Zheng Shunshun believes that traveling can maximize the feeling of a beautiful life and explore deeper spiritual pursuits.
Liang Yong believes that the significance of traveling lies in seeing different worlds and meeting different people.
During the graduation trip, 91.8% of the surveyed graduates felt that they could have more energy to pursue "poetry and distant lands". Further interaction analysis showed that the female interviewees felt more strongly than the male interviewees.
