One arrow and five stars! China has successfully launched the H-3 A-E satellite | China
At 13:32 Beijing time on August 14, 2023, China used the Kuaishzhou-1A carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center to launch five satellites, including the Hede 3A~E satellites, into orbit. The satellites were successfully launched into the designated orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. This satellite is mainly used to provide commercial remote sensing services.
The A~E satellites of Hede 3 are a transportation VDES satellite system networking satellite developed by Beijing Hede Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. It is mainly used for the integrated transportation safety guarantee system of land, sea, air and space. The VDES satellite system for transportation is the fundamental guarantee for intelligent maritime communication, ocean situational awareness, and intelligent ocean exploration, and can provide global coverage of satellite IoT communication services and aircraft supervision services in the navigation field. It will become an important component of the "Global Maritime Distress and Safety System".
This mission is the 22nd launch of the Kuaishou 1A solid carrier rocket. This type of rocket is a small solid launch vehicle launched by Aerospace Science and Industry Rocket Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation in Sanjiang. It mainly provides launch services for 300kg low orbit small satellites and has the characteristics of high flight reliability, high orbit entry accuracy, short preparation period, low obstacle requirements, and low launch costs.
